For sale is a butt axe with hanging bow-shaped ornament.
Description: This type of axe is characterized by a hanging bow-shaped or sharply tapering rib underneath the butt. This rib can be straight or slightly rounded. The edge strips are usually relatively high. The cutting edge swings noticeably outward. The neck is straight to slightly rounded. Some axes have shield bows on the narrow sides.
This axe is in very good condition, with a few holes in the patina, as shown in the pictures.
