Carlo Antonio Luraschi - Panel - Copper

Beautiful copper relief panel. The panel is handmade by the Italian master metalworker Carlo Antonio Luraschi using repoussé and chasing techniques.

The artwork dates from the 1960s and shows a beautiful, stylized scene of a springing antelope in a mountain landscape. Mid-century modern, but with clear Art Deco influences.

Luraschi lived and worked in the Northern Italian village of San Mamete di Valsolda, directly situated on Lake Lugano.

The panel is hand-signed and comes with Luraschi's business card.

Note: In the zoomed-in photos the color of the copper is paler than in reality. Photo 3 and the last photo are the most realistic.
