Leitz Vario-Elmar-R 1:4.5/75-200 telephoto zoom lens for Leica R, in good physical condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
This is the classic Leitz Vario-Elmar-R 75-200mm f/4.5 telephoto zoom lens, a classic mid-telephoto zoom lens for the Leica R mount system. Designed by Leica in Germany and manufactured by Seiko in Japan, its optical quality continues the solid imaging style of German lenses. The practical 75-200mm focal length covers the mid-telephoto to telephoto range, with a constant f/4.5 aperture, making it suitable for everyday portrait close-ups, still life shooting, outdoor landscape telephoto, and sports event photography, offering high versatility.
The lens body features an all-metal construction with a textured, non-slip grip, providing a solid and stable feel. The original metal lens hood is fully retained, effectively suppressing stray glare. Multiple multi-coated optical elements result in natural color transitions, moderate contrast, and soft, pleasing bokeh in actual images. The actual photos show that the aperture blades are neat and clean, with no oil leakage or sticking issues. The zoom ring and focus ring rotate smoothly and evenly. The metric/foot distance scale and aperture setting markings are clearly printed, demonstrating excellent long-term stability.
