Mirror - Gold leaf

Splendid antique period tilt mirror. Made of hand-carved wood and veneered in gold leaf. Precious oval frame with volutes, leaves and floral motifs, and a rich crest with a shell decoration. Refined artisanal craftsmanship from the early 19th century, of great quality and Italian elegance. Some slight and normal signs of wear due to age visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good to excellent condition.
