Donati Milano table-top globe dating from 1963, with a walnut-finished wooden stand and paper map, 37 cm in diameter and 50 cm tall, made in Italy, and the ring can be used as a handle to open the globe which serves as a box; in good condition with minor wear on the map.

This is a beautiful, decorative antique globe on a wooden stand with a colorful antique map image. It has a warm walnut finish and was printed in 1963 by Italian editor Donati in Milan.
The constellations, months, and landscape zones with the degrees in Italian are on the rings around the globe.
The globe can be opened like a box by using the top of the ring as a handle. It can be used as a pocket emptier, candy holder, playing card holder, jewelry holder, etc.
This globe with the ring has a diameter of around 37 cm. Its height is approximately 50 cm.
Conditions: the structure is stable and has no breakages. There are a few minor signs of wear on the map covering the globe at the points of greatest contact: they do not compromise the object's aesthetics in any way. See the pictures for further impressions.
