An oak mass chest dating from the early 17th century, in traditional style, with dimensions 74.5 cm long, 38 cm wide and 50 cm high, and weighing 8 kg.

Solid oak chest dating from the early 17th century
Antique solid oak chest dating from the early 17th century. Its façade is adorned with three molded panels and its sides are also paneled, bearing witness to traditional craftsmanship of quality.
Fully made of solid oak, it features a beautiful old patina acquired over the centuries. The interior is equipped with a small compartment (layette), intended for storing precious objects or documents.
The lid is mounted on its original iron hinges. The piece is particularly sturdy, heavy, and stable.
This chest can today find its place just as well in an old-fashioned interior as in a contemporary one, as a storage piece,, a bedside chest, or a coffee table.
