This decorative object is designed in the sumptuous French Rococo style. The horse's head is centered on an openwork lattice with a diamond pattern and is surrounded by a richly decorated frame full of graceful asymmetric scrolls, acanthus leaves and subtle floral motifs.

Thanks to the refined casting quality, the piece has a beautiful sense of depth. The brass has over the years developed a moody, darker patina in the deeper recessed areas, which further accentuates the Baroque details.
