Vintage Dutch table lamp – attributed to Hala Zeist, model 755 – 1960s
Special vintage table lamp from the Netherlands, probably from the 1960s.
The lamp is made of dark brown lacquered metal, with a white interior of the shade. The lamp has a distinctive flexible metal neck, allowing the light source to be easily directed in the desired direction. The rectangular, heavy base is also brown and fitted with a white push switch.

The design and construction show strong similarities with the well-known Hala Zeist Model 755, a Dutch mid-century design from the 1960s. The specimen, however, does not bear a visible trademark, so for this sale it is offered as attributed to Hala Zeist.

A beautiful lamp for enthusiasts of Dutch vintage design, mid-century modern and industrial lighting.

The lamp has been tested and is functional. Given the age of the lamp, it is however advisable to have the electrical wiring, cord, plug and switch checked by a qualified person before use. Rewiring may be recommended for safety reasons.

The lamp is in good vintage condition, with light signs of use and small imperfections in the lacquer that are in keeping with its age. Please examine the photos carefully; they are part of the condition description.
