Description from the seller

This piece comes from the now classic find made in Pakistan a few years ago, which, as I like to say, was short but sweet, producing the best brucite specimens ever seen so far and putting this otherwise rare mineral (as far as aesthetic specimens go) on the map. Admittedly there were some previous examples of wonderful blue and white display quality brucites from other localities around the world, but nothing of this quality, color intensity and gemminess for sure. In this case, this specimen features an incredibly aesthetic composition made up of a complexly crystallized thin brucite layer of both intergrown radial and botryoidal aggregates of intensely colored yellow gemmy brucite, which when appreciated from up close appears forming flat hexagonal crystals with excellent pearlescent luster. The aggregates arrange themselves forming an elegant and delicate structure that is set over the tiniest piece of grey micaceous matrix.
