Description from the seller

Elegant French planter in Napoleon III style, dating to the second half of the 19th century. Made of ebonized wood, it features a refined inlay decoration with floral motifs and scrolls, carried out with great artisanal care and highlighted by precious gilt bronze fittings.

The structure is characterized by a circular upper body intended to house the flower vase, enriched by a perforated metal gallery. The sinuous and slender legs confer lightness and elegance to the whole, while the bronze applications depicting vegetal elements and decorative putti further embellish the piece. At the bottom there is a decorative inlay-linked connecting element that contributes to the stability of the structure and completes its aesthetic harmony.

Equilibrated proportions, the richness of the inlays and the quality of the finishes make this planter a refined furnishing accessory, ideal for classical interiors, salons, entrances or antique collections.
