Vintage crystal flower frog, historically also known as "flower frog" (or "pique-fleurs" in French), inserted into a silver ring-base. Decorative and functional instrument designed to facilitate floral arrangement, offering a support for the stems: the upper glass structure is equipped with numerous vertical grooves. Each groove is designed to receive and hold each stem of the flowers perfectly in place. The heavy glass grille provides stability to the arrangement, preventing flowers from tilting or clustering disorderedly on the sides. It could also serve as a water reservoir to keep the flowers fresh.

Punzonatures: 800 (oval), no other hallmarks are visible

In transparency a defect of the glass fusion is visible (penultimate photo), not visible externally.

Portafiori vintage in cristallo, storicamente noto anche come "flower frog" (o "pique-fleurs" in francese), inserito all'interno di una base ad anello in argento.  Strumento decorativo e funzionale progettato per facilitare la composizione floreale, offrendo un supporto per i gambi: la struttura superiore in vetro è dotata di numerosi fori verticali sagomati. Ciascun foro è studiato per accogliere e mantenere perfettamente in posizione i singoli steli dei fiori. La griglia in vetro pesante garantisce stabilità alla composizione, impedendo che i fiori si inclinino o si raggruppino disordinatamente sui lati. Poteva rappresentare una riserva d'acqua per mantenere i fiori freschi.
Punzonature: 800 (ovale), non si notano altri punzoni
In trasparenza si nota un difetto della vetro fusione (penultima foto), non visibile esternamente.
