Table clock - Wood - 1700-1750 - Table clock dating from 1700

A very old table clock offered.

This one was made by Simon Iansen of Huykama, Amersfoort.
Simon was active at the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century.
There is more work by Simon known, and this piece made by him is around 1700.
The movement has a gong and alarm mechanism powered by a snek hour on a single hand.

The tolls on the clock have a different color, and seem to me to be of a later date.

The clock runs well, but the alarm and striking mechanism is out of order, and needs to be checked.

Furthermore, the clock is in a proper state for its age.
