Frame (2) - Gilt bronze - Baroque Style 19th century (h. 32 cm)

In this auction, two antique and rare table frames in bronze, gilded brass of fine artistic workmanship, are presented. The gilding remains in excellent condition, and a characteristic patina of time is observed that increases their historical value. The inner part of the frame is made of antique copper, including period-appropriate fittings with original screws from the era. Both frames have rich border decorations depicting vegetation, typical ornaments of the period. The mechanism to keep the frame upright is also original and functional. They are perfect for two oil paintings. No damage.
