Medieval Lead Pilgrim's Token (No reserve price)

Probably a ritual applique, with great suppleness of the material, in magnificent condition.

Image : It shows a stylized human figure (probably a specific saint or Christ) with a halo around the head, placed within a rectangular frame.
Attachment : A small eyelet (or hole) is visible at the top left, through which the badge could be sewn or pinned to a hat, bag, or garment.
Material : It is made of a soft lead-tin alloy , which at the time was a cheap and easy way to run mass production for pilgrims using casting molds

Function: Similar lead tokens and signs formerly served as pilgrimage signals, prayer tokens, or local currency (such as poor man's lead or bread lead)
