AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This original Mid-Century teak wall shelf / wall unit impresses with its characteristic Nordic-influenced design from that era. The generously laid-out modular shelving system consists of several tall side elements, numerous open compartments, and two side-by-side lower cabinets.

The warmly grained teak surface gives the piece an elegant and natural appearance. The differently arranged shelves provide plenty of space for books, decorations, art objects, and personal belongings. The two lower cabinet elements complement the open shelving system with practical, closed storage. One element features three drawers, while the doors are equipped with distinctive black, geometrically shaped handles.

What is particularly interesting is the constructive execution: the individual elements are connected by visible fittings and can be mounted or dismantled according to the original construction. The side panels have numerous holes, allowing a variable and height-adjustable arrangement of the shelves. The backs and connecting elements clearly show the original modular construction.

The shelves are bordered on both sides with raised edges. This makes the shelving system also excellent as a room divider and able to stand freely in the room. In this arrangement it is stable and can thus also be used as a freestanding wall.

The furniture is overall in very nice and well-kept vintage condition, with age- and wear-related traces that emphasize the authentic character of the piece. The beautiful teak grain and warm color tone come into their own especially well.

The keys are present and function perfectly.

For the configuration planned for Monday, the corresponding pictures and the numbering of the individual elements follow.
