An exceptional document for its era

1 copy of the world’s first guide created by the MICHELIN brothers in 1900 and intended for motorists.
It contains:
- Technical information on tires, their maintenance and precautions to take (how to remove them, reinstall them, inflate them.....etc...etc..)
- A logbook tracking distances travelled and fuel consumption, with, as a bonus, the daily times of sunrise and sunset and the moonrise/moonset. etc...
- City plans
- Addresses of repair garages (breakdowns were common at the time)
- Addresses of hotels and restaurants
- Fuel depots.....
Five years later, the first Michelin road map was published for the Gordon Bennett Cup
- The main automobile manufacturers
- Etc...etc...etc... dozens and dozens of practical infos from that era.
We also discover that electric cars were already in circulation!!!
