Refined inlaid bouquet floral marquetry serving cart, a superb example of Italian artisanal mid-20th-century cabinetmaking. Sophisticated, beautiful in appearance and form, it features a two-level, sinuous architectural silhouette with contoured perimetral polylobed profiles, finished with a beautiful black ebonized border that creates a sophisticated chromatic contrast with the warm wood tones.

The two shelves, joined by four slender solid-wood turnery stems, host at the center two splendid polychromic floral bouquets framed by geometric reserves with vegetal scrolls and inlaid foliage.

The upper tray is equipped with a substantial ergonomic handle in turned torchon wood, supported by arms in heavy gilded brass finely chased with geometric motifs and relief beading. A delicate perimeter railing in polished brass balusters surrounds the perimeter to ensure the stability of objects during service.

The lower level is enriched by a practical three-compartment bottle holder in perforated brass, firmly anchored to the structure. The base rests on four large pivoting wheels original to the period in gilded metal, finished with a perimeter rubberized floor-protector ring.

The original protective lacquer is beautifully preserved, retaining a mirror-like gloss free of cloudiness, enhancing the sharpness of the inlays. The structural joints of the columns and ebonized profiles show no cracks. The brass components retain their original gilding with a light and fascinating patina of time. The four pivoting wheels are intact and fully functional.
