The official catalog entry of the National Museum Salce Collection in Treviso, which preserves this poster, describes it as:
“Motta Ice Cream. Smiling blonde woman with ice cream and sea with a sailing boat in the background,”
attributed to Mario Rossi,
dated 1950.

In addition to the signature Mario Rossi, on both sides of the poster there is also the stamp of payment of the advertising tax of 80 lire.
The word “Gelati” is in italics, unlike later editions where it appears in uppercase printing.
The advertising placard has the same image on both sides, one of which is better preserved than the other.
On the wooden stick of the ice cream the name Motta is printed.
