AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Circular presentation plate in solid silver 950/1000, made by the Parisian house A. Aucoc at the end of the 19th century.

The piece rests on three openwork feet, richly worked, adorned with floral and foliate motifs in the Louis XVI style. The circumference is outlined by an elegant beaded frieze, also echoed in the décor of the feet.

The reverse bears the signature “A. AUCOC,” the master’s mark in a lozenge, as well as the French Minerva head assay mark, partially struck but identifiable.

Dimensions :

* Diameter: 23 cm
* Height: 4 cm
* Weight: 653 g

Very good overall condition considering its age. The surface shows scratches and micro-scratches from use, visible in the photographs, with no deformation. The three feet and their openwork decorations are well preserved.

Beautiful piece of French metalwork, particularly heavy and high quality for its dimensions.

The photographs are part of the description.
