Description from the seller
An authentic vintage industrial technical lamp dating roughly to the period 1945–1955, built for professional use in workshops, laboratories, and technical studios.
Priva di marchio, si distingue per una qualità costruttiva superiore alla media, tipica delle attrezzature industriali del dopoguerra, dove funzionalità, robustezza e durata erano gli aspetti fondamentali del progetto.
The structure is entirely metal and features an elegant double articulated arm with refined chrome friction joints, allowing precise and stable light positioning.
The original shade retains the distinctive pull-string switch, a detail nowadays rare and typical of mid-20th-century technical lamps, which contributes to preserving its authenticity.
The lamp has undergone a conservative restoration, preserving the original patina and the natural signs of aging that tell its story without altering its charm.
It is in perfect working order and ready to use.
The original base is no longer present and has been replaced with a solid artisanal base carved from a car brake disc, a choice with a strong industrial character that guarantees excellent stability and harmonizes with the object's aesthetics.
This modification is disclosed with full transparency and further enhances the lamp's factory aesthetic.
Thanks to its minimalist design, the quality of the mechanics, and the original details, this lamp represents a piece of authentic industrial archaeology, ideal for furnishing lofts, architectural studios, creative ateliers, offices, or contemporary environments where you want to insert an object with a strong historical and functional character.
It is not just a simple vintage lamp, but an object that testifies to an era when work tools were built to last a lifetime.
