Description from the seller
An interesting specimen of azurite with malachite from Morocco, characterized by the strong contrast between the deep blue of azurite and the bright green of malachite.
The azurite forms numerous shining crystals, some elongated and clearly visible, distributed over the matrix.
The crystals exhibit good color intensity, but not all are perfectly intact: natural contacts, small chipping and some incomplete terminations are visible.
The malachite appears in microcrystalline aggregates and green coatings, localized mainly on the upper part and along one side of the specimen.
The matrix, brown and ochre in color, completes the composition and highlights the colors of the copper minerals.
A natural specimen, very colorful and rich in detail, interesting for the combination of azurite and malachite and for the variety of crystal forms present.
Provenienza: Marocco
Weight: 134 g
Dimensions: 7 × 6 × 3.5 cm
