Beautiful short sword of the Lokele people, originating from the center-east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The forged iron blade has a characteristic diamond-shaped form, with a marked mid-bulge and a central ridge engraved with fine linear motifs.
The grip, dark wood patinated by use, ends in a broad and heavy polyhedral faceted pommel, typical of Lokele production.
