Description:
For auction is an authentic early 20th-century (pre-1917, Russian Empire period) vintage postcard collection accompanied by an original souvenir folder, featuring views of Omsk and its surroundings.
The set includes black-and-white and color-tinted postcards showcasing period architecture, religious landmarks, and urban views (including the Cathedral, Governor-General's Palace, City Theater, bridges over the Om and Irtysh rivers, Moscow Trade Rows, Kazachy Cathedral, and local ethnographic types). Also included is the original publisher's paper wrapper/folder inscribed "Приветъ изъ Омска" ("Greetings from Omsk").
