Description from the seller

Magnificent lot consisting of two authentic mechanical travel clocks from Germany, preserved in their original cases. These two pieces perfectly illustrate the elegance and craftsmanship of mid-20th-century German watchmaking.

Both mechanisms have been tested before sale: they work perfectly, setting the time is functional, and the movements run normally.

Clock no. 1 – West Germany
Origin: West Germany
Estimated dating: 1955-1965
Manual-wind mechanical movement
Mechanical striking
White dial with Arabic numerals
Elegant Louis XV-style hands with original luminous material
Gold-finished metal case
Original folding case with handle
This piece is representative of high-end travel clocks produced in Germany in the 1950s.

Clock no. 2 – REVIL – 7 Jewels
Brand: REVIL
Origin: West Germany
Estimated dating: 1965-1975
Mechanical movement with 7 jewels (7 Jewels)
Black dial with applied gold indexes
Luminous hands
Gold-toned metal case
Original travel case with floral textile décor
Its modernist design is characteristic of German productions from the 1960s-1970s.

Condition
Both clocks are in very good overall condition, with a natural patina consistent with their age.
To note only:
- light signs of use on the cases and cases;
- some micro-scratches on the crystals.

Both clocks have been tested and are perfectly functional, which is a real asset for this type of antique object.
