Superscope, Marantz - R-1262 -serviced- Solid state stereo receiver

The Superscope R-1262 is a classic vintage AM/FM stereo receiver from the 1970s, designed by Standard Radio Japan (Marantz Japan). Because Superscope owned Marantz at that time, this receiver shares many internal components, circuits, and the distinctive warm sound with the legendary Marantz models from the same period.

This Superscope is built similarly to receivers from the Marantz 22xx and MR series.

Visually in very nice condition, with only minor signs of use here and there (scratches on the front).

The combination of the matte black front with aluminum knobs and the blue scale illumination gives this receiver a uniquely beautiful appearance.

The receiver has been fully checked by a specialist and thoroughly cleaned inside and out.

The scale lighting has been renewed and replaced with LED.
