A circa 12 cm high Art Deco earthenware vase designed by Lion Cachet, produced at Plateelbakkerij de Distel in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in collaboration with Goedewaagen around 1922, double-signed, model number 116, uitvoering 7, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and spots.

In 1922 and 1923 the pottery Goedewaagen took over the Amsterdam plateel and tile factory 'De Distel'. Production was moved to Gouda, which made Goedewaagen known for high-quality decorative porcelain in the Jugendstil and Art Deco styles.

Height is 12.5 cm and it is hand-painted and signed, a distinctive model with griffins. Design by Lion Cachet.

This one is in good original condition and not restored. The upper rim feels a bit rough.
