Sommelier's Sabre FOX Knives Model 2006 - Special Edition Conte D'Attimis Ribolla Brut
Ceremonial sabre in Napoleonic style produced in 2006 in Maniago by FOX Knives. Special edition made for Conte D'Attimis-Maniago on the occasion of Ribolla Brut.
The satin stainless steel blade is about 45 cm long and bears on one side the mark "FOX KNIVES - MANIAGO MADE IN ITALY - Mod 2006". On the opposite side is engraved "RI-BU-LA BRUT" and the heraldic crest of Conte D'Attimis-Maniago.
The hilt is in silvered metal with a closed D guard worked in relief with floral, pierced motifs. The grip is knurled to ensure a firm hold and finishes with a removable pommel. The piece is completed by an ivory-colored cord tassel with a gold thread.
The lot includes the black lacquered wood display stand with FOX logo, the elegant light wood case with hot-stamped logo "CONTE D'ATTIMIS - MANIAGO" and the booklet "La Pratica della Sciabolata nell'Apertura di un Grande Spumante".
Collection product, Made in Italy. Condition: excellent, as in the photographs. A rare item that combines Maniago knifemaking craftsmanship with Friulian winemaking tradition.
