Time stamp machine - Posthuma Stempelfabriek - Brass - 1900-1910

A time / date stamp with associated clock, measuring circa 18cm in height and weighing 500g, in its original wooden box with adjustment fork.

Marked to the handle with brass plaque bearing maker´s name and 3-digit Amsterdam telephone number, allowing us to date the piece to circa 1920.

Condition: Rubber stamps to the underside worn and damaged. Clock works intermittently, then stops. In need of internal cleaning as presumably the oil has coagulated.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
