The scene is explosive: neon lights, buildings scraping the sky, and banknotes floating in the air, as if excess were a natural law. In the foreground, a red supercar asserts its presence in front of the world's tallest skyscraper: the Burj Khalifa. This work is not just a visual representation: it is a manifesto of speed, opulence, and contemporary desire.
Although the emblem on the front has been artistically intervened to resemble a Lamborghini, the silhouette and lines clearly reveal a Ferrari 488 GTB, a model released in 2015 and considered one of the most balanced supercars from Maranello. Equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 670 hp, the 488 GTB accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reaches a top speed above 330 km/h.
This model marked Ferrari’s return to turbo engines after decades of atmospheric tradition, and stood out for its active aerodynamics, chassis balance, and immediate response, being chosen as “Supercar of the Year” by various specialized publications.
The painting is a chromatic explosion. The thick, vibrant, and swift strokes of the urban background contrast with the aggressive definition of the car, making the Ferrari appear almost carved in motion. The colors are electric: deep blues, neon yellows, vivid reds, and touches of gold recreate an atmosphere of excess and speed inherent to Dubai’s skyline.
The banknotes in the air reinforce the notion of financial capital and ostentation, while the presence of the Burj Khalifa acts as a vertical symbol of contemporary power. Everything in the work points to a language of aspiration, drive, and luxury carried to the extreme.
