An excellent condition Art Deco style glass jewellery box from Czechia, dating to 1850–1900, made of orange stained glass with a brass frame, dimensions 14 cm × 10 cm × 10 cm and a weight of 450 g.

Luxury antique box or jewelry box made of pressed amber/honey glass with metal mounting with hinges. According to the design, it is a very specific and valuable collector's item. Thick-walled pressed glass, which was produced in Central Europe in high quality from the end of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century. Very similar luxury toilet boxes and jewelry boxes were produced by the world-famous Lalique glass factory, the Jablonec Curt Schlevogt glass factory (Ingrid collection) and the Czech glass factory Sklo Union.
Construction: The box is set in a brass metal frame with a hinge, which was typical for luxury French and Austro-Hungarian (later Czechoslovak) caskets and jewelry boxes.

Glass in good collector's condition, undamaged.
