Description from the seller
TAVOLO "SORRENTINO" INLAID ITALIAN TABLE IN FINE WOODS OF THE EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY
Splendido tavolo "sorrentino" realizzato in legni pregiati (noce, acero, ciliegio e palissandro), databile al primo Novecento. The circular top features a central geometric star inlay, executed with the typical mastery of the Sorrento artisanal workshops, renowned for the precision and vivid color of their work. The tessellated multicolor composition creates a visually refined optical effect, with concentric moldings and a finely worked decorative edge. The structure is solid, with turned legs and a natural wax finish that preserves the original patina.
Il periodo di produzione, a cavallo tra il 1900 ed il 1920, gli attribuisce uno stile "tardo Liberty/Neoclassico decorativo"
An authentic example of Campanian cabinetmaking from the early twentieth century, ideal for collectors or period interiors.
Disponibile per il solo ritiro in loco presso Altopiano di Asiago (Vicenza - Italia). Se ne assicura l'assistenza.
