The base is made of solid silver (hallmarks on the edge of the base).

Excellent Italian craftsmanship from the second half of the 20th century.

Good condition, the base shows signs of zapponatura, a treatment on the silver that slows oxidation and gives the piece a champagne-like color. This treatment has formed a small coffee-colored stain, visible in the photos.

The item is cleaned and inspected before being professionally packed and shipped with insured and trackable shipping.

Buone condizioni, la base presenta tracce di zapponatura,  un trattamento sul argento che rallenta l' ossidazione e dona all' oggetto un colore simile allo champagne.
Questo trattamento ha formato una piccola macchia color caffè, visibile tra le foto.
