English Mahogany Secretary Cabinet, Georgian Revival period, 19th century. Elegant English-style secretary cabinet in solid and veneered mahogany, inspired by the Georgian period (Georgian Revival), datable to the late 19th or early 20th century (c. 1890–1920). It features a top section with two glazed doors with decorative latticework in Gothic design, crowned by a richly carved cornice. The central module includes a drawer that converts into a desk, revealing a light-colored wood interior with multiple pigeonholes, small drawers and compartments for correspondence. The lower part consists of two doors that conceal a spacious storage area with a shelf. The qualities of the mahogany, the beautiful wood grain, brass hardware, and the excellent proportion of the piece stand out, combining functionality and elegance.
