Description from the seller
Hematoid quartz – Morocco
Sample of hematoid quartz characterized by rich crystallization, with numerous well-developed crystals of different sizes. The tones range from red-orange to red-brown, with lighter and translucent areas creating a pleasant contrast and highlighting the different crystal growths.
The frontal part presents the most abundant and spectacular crystallization, with numerous terminations and prismatic crystals that grow in multiple directions. Some faces show good luster and partial transparency, particularly evident in crystals with lighter tones.
The specimen is also interesting laterally and on the back, where further crystallizations remain visible, together with the matrix rich in iron oxides. The overall morphology is irregular and offers several viewing angles.
There are some incomplete terminations and small nicks, visible in the photographs.
Form: Group of crystals
Origin: Morocco
Weight: 845 g
