A particularly beautiful and decorative Art Deco candelabrum crafted by Libochovice (Feigl & Morawetz), Czechoslovakia.

This concerns the two-armed version, catalog model no. 1686, also known among collectors by the name “Sublime Deco.”

The model is documented in a historic catalog from Verreries de Libochovice.

The candelabrum is executed in a beautiful combination of clear and satin-finished/etched-looking pressed glass. The symmetrically undulating arms, ribbed crystal-clear ornaments, and richly profiled base give the piece a pronounced Art Deco look.

Het betreft de tweearmige uitvoering, catalogusmodel nr. 1686, ook bekend onder de verzamelaarsnaam “Sublime Deco”. Het model is gedocumenteerd in een historische catalogus van Verreries de Libochovice.

De kandelaar is uitgevoerd in een prachtige combinatie van helder en gesatineerd/geëtst ogend persglas. De symmetrisch golvende armen, geribde kristalheldere ornamenten en rijk geprofileerde voet geven het object een uitgesproken Art Deco-uitstraling.
