Corkscrew (7) - Wood, Iron - 7 corkscrews

A special collection of seven decorative French corkscrews, made with handles of naturally shaped vinewood/vine root (cep de vigne).

Each corkscrew has, due to the natural shape, knots and texture of the wood, a unique character. The handles range from light natural to dark lacquered wood and are fitted with metal parts.

Probably France, second half of the 20th century, circa 1960–1980.
