Oeil de boeuf clock - Wood, Brass - 1850-1900

French wall clock, so-called 'KOEOOG', with a mini Comtoise movement

The clock repeats the hourly chimes after about 2 minutes, just like a Comtoise.

The still-original dial is made of glass! And it features a beautiful inscription from the first seller and the place name.

The surround of the dial is, among other things, inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

The magnificent movement is signed, as you can see in the photos.
What is also very special is that the springs are also signed! (in the 45 years that I have been making and restoring clocks, I have never seen this before!)

This clock can last for many more years; the movement has been lovingly restored and regulated.
