Unlike similar lamps, this one does not have a spherical shape, but is slightly oval so that it resembles an eye.

I couldn't determine the manufacturer and designer, but most likely it is of Italian make.

Technically the lamp is in good working condition, though it shows some signs of wear/use (see photos).

The plug is not earthed.
