The pieces show a variety of natural crystal forms, and displaying well-defined crystal faces and natural terminations. Many pieces have excellent colour and attractive translucency, allowing light to pass through the material and highlight the warm orange-golden tones.

One side of of all the pieces appears smooth/polished or naturally more lustrous, creating an interesting contrast with the rougher natural surfaces. The lot has been kept in its rough form and has not been fashioned into gemstones.
