Candleholder - Brass, Silverplated, Bronze - Palmatoria

Splendid, rare, and ancient liturgical palm lamp.
Used in the late 19th century to illuminate the missal during religious ceremonies.
Made of brass finely hand-engraved and silver-plated.
Precious handle in gilded bronze decorated with grape and vine motifs with a lower ring to secure the grip.
Some light and normal signs of age visible in the photos.
Very fascinating and in good condition.
