Description from the seller
A striking cluster of intergrown cubic pyrite crystals from the famous Navajún locality in La Rioja, Spain.
The specimen features several well-formed cubic pyrite crystals with a metallic brass-yellow lustre, arranged in an attractive three-dimensional composition. The crystals show natural growth features and surface textures characteristic of pyrite from Navajún.
The specimen has been professionally reattached after extraction, with the crystals restored to their original natural positions. This type of repair is relatively common for pyrite specimens from Navajún, as the crystals can become detached from the soft marl matrix during extraction and preparation.
The crystals are natural and have not been cut or polished. Minor natural imperfections and small inclusions are visible on the crystal faces.
