AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Authentic and rare Art Deco-era automobile radiator mascot (1920s-1930s) depicting a Native American chief. This is a superb high-end customization accessory (second mount), highly sought after at the time to adorn the hoods of the finest sedans of the interwar period.

Manufacture & Signature: Solid bronze/brass piece of exceptional craftsmanship. It bears the official foundry monogram "AFF" (Fonderies d'Affry) clearly visible in relief at the rear base, as well as on its internal metal crossbar.

Original fixation: The central iron crossbar with its central screw thread is original and perfectly preserved, allowing direct mounting on a radiator cap or on a marble base to serve as a desk paperweight.

Condition: Exceptional. The object has retained its original gold-toned patina with beautiful nuances of natural verdigris in the feather creases. The piece has deliberately never been stripped or polished in order to preserve its full authenticity and historical value.

Weight: [To be completed, e.g., 850 g]
Era: Circa 1925-1930 (Art Deco)
