Description from the seller
In this listing an exceptional and very useful vintage-era accessory for the Hasselblad 500 series medium format system: the Hasselblad Film Winding Knob with Exposure Meter 54011, designed in collaboration with the renowned German company Gossen. This smart device replaces the standard camera's winding knob or lever. It operates thanks to a self-powered selenium photocell: it does not require any batteries to function.
The lot is presented in very good condition, meticulously cared for and complete with its original Hasselblad box, the vintage instruction sheet, and the distinctive rigid clear plastic protective bell with a gray base.
Main features: The selenium cell and the upper window are in optimal condition. The DIN/ASA calculation scales, the EV values numbers and the reading needle are perfectly visible, clean and free from haze or surface scratches. The opal diffusion diaphragm moves smoothly into place.
Mechanical; Tested and working. The selenium exposure meter needle responds promptly and correctly to changes and variations in ambient light intensity. The dial rings for setting film sensitivity and parameters turn smoothly and precisely, and the lower bayonet mount for attaching to the camera body is fully functional.
Aesthetics: Very good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The black plastic body is beautifully preserved with clear vintage white and red graphics and indices. The original box shows normal and minimal signs of storage and wear on the edges consistent with the object's age, but remains structurally solid.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally ultra-protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
