An Ancient Story: The name "Dievole" first appears in a lease contract dated 1090. It literally means "God wills it," making the estate a historic place with nearly a thousand years of winemaking tradition.
Biological Philosophy and Terroir: Dievole is located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southern part of Chianti Classico. The estate has fully converted its vineyards to organic farming and uses large 41-hectoliter French oak casks for aging, preserving the pure, varietal expression of Sangiovese.
