Description from the seller
Elegant vintage brass umbrella stand – umbrella design, Hollywood Regency, circa 1960–70
Elegant vintage umbrella stand made of brass, with a highly decorative open umbrella-shaped design, a hallmark of European Mid-Century style.
It stands out for its sculptural silhouette, with a segmented conical body that mimics the folds of an umbrella, topped by an upper structure with inner divisions to organize the canes or umbrellas. The piece is completed with a curved “crook” handle, evoking classic umbrellas.
The golden brass finish provides a warm and sophisticated aesthetic, very representative of the 1960s and 1970s, when such objects combined functionality with a strong decorative value.
These kinds of umbrella stands were especially popular in France and Europe during the Mid-Century period, and they fit perfectly in vintage, classical, or contemporary interiors with character.
