Rare pair of hexagonal Art Deco porcelain vases by Noritake (Japan), model Komaru Morimura, circa 1920–1930, with gilded double handles, polychrome Imari-style enamels, gold detailing, blue Komaru Morimura base mark, dimensions 23 cm high, 21 cm deep, 15 cm wide, diameter 7 cm, weight 780 g, in Excellent condition with minimal wear and slight gilt wear.

Rare pair of hexagonal Art Deco Noritake vases - Japan c. 1920 - good condition
We are offering for sale a remarkable pair of porcelain vases from Noritake (Japan), from the Art Deco period (circa 1920-1930).
Form: Hexagonal with double handles / gilded handles. Decoration: Stylized Imari-style geometric flowers, polychrome enamels (cobalt blue, iron red, green, black) and rich fine gold highlights. Golden Greek key frieze at the neck. Marking: Signed under the base by the blue stamp “Komaru” (Morimura), used from 1920 for export.
