The final issue in the division series of Pope Francis’s pontificate, produced shortly before his passing, encloses an extraordinary symbolic value. This collection, like never before, takes on a highly commemorative meaning: it is a tangible homage to His memory, destined to endure over time. The series comprises 8 denominations (2 and 1 Euro, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, 1 Euro-cent) having on the reverse the required technical characteristics, identical for all countries adhering to the euro. On the obverse of all coins is depicted the emblem of Pope Francis, the inscription "Città del Vaticano" and twelve stars.
