8 Cups with 12 Coordinated Saucers
Conditions and Conservation Notes:
The service is overall in excellent antique condition, considering its 70 years of history, and is free of ceramic fractures or structural cracks, except for the sole noted chip.
As this is genuine English ceramic/earthenware from 1954, we note the following for full transparency:
Absence of breaks: There are no cracks or breaks in the bodies of the plates, except for a single under-plate with a very small edge chip (shown in photos).
Crazing: Several pieces show the classic and physiological "crazing" (very fine micro-cracks in the surface glaze), an absolutely typical and characteristic effect of English ceramics of this period.
Signs of wear and tone: There are light natural signs of use, along with a few small yellowish surface spots due to time and the porosity of the material, which give the set an authentic vintage patina.
A complete and rare set, perfect for prestigious dining.
This model is out of production (discontinued), which makes complete sets of this entity a market rarity for collectors and a sound long-term investment.
