Lotto composed of two commemorative 500 Lire coins of the Italian Republic, both minted in 835 silver and kept in the original blue packaging of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato.
• 500 Lire 1981 – Publius Vergilius Maro, Virgil's bimillennium
Silver 835 – weight 11 g – diameter approximately 29 mm.
Commemorative issue dedicated to the bimillennium of Virgilio's death.
Complete with original IPZS packaging and the original Ministry of the Treasury leaflet/documentation.
• 500 Lire 1982 – Giuseppe Garibaldi, Centenary of death
Silver 834 – weight 11 g – diameter approximately 29 mm.
Commemorative issue for the centenary of Giuseppe Garibaldi's death.
Kept in the original IPZS packaging.
Total weight of the coins: 22 g.
