Two oak plant/side tables in Art Deco style, manufactured in the Netherlands and dating to the 1960s–1970s, with one taller table at 79 cm and one shorter at 67 cm, each with a 20 × 20 cm top, finished in untreated oak with a clear lacquer, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and spots.
Description from the seller
Two very nice and decorative plant tables / pedestals. The tables are made as a set; different in height but otherwise identical. They are made of oak wood that has not been brushed and has been finished with clear lacquer. The taller table is 79 cm high and weighs about 2.5 kg, the shorter table is 67 cm high and weighs about 2 kg. Both tables have a top measuring 20 cm x 20 cm. The tables were probably produced in the 1960s or 1970s of the last century, and the style could be described as Art Deco.
The tables are probably made in the Netherlands. They are still 100% stable, and have only logical signs of use. Both tables show some signs of weathering on the top surface, and left and right small scratches. On the edge of the top of the taller table there are a few small nicks (see photos). There are also some spots of dark paint visible here and there.
Both tables are still very stable, and thus not only beautiful pieces of furniture in a room but also very functional. They can be used as plant tables, for which they were originally likely made, but also as pedestals (see photos). You could even use them as stools, though they are certainly not made for that.
Both tables are carefully packed and carefully shipped.
